Call for Abstracts
Instructions for Authors
Authors are invited to submit two page abstracts, clearly stating the objectives, results and conclusions of the work to be presented at the Conference.
All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts.
Authors are asked to prepare Extended Abstracts in the form of PDF (Portable Document Format) which must be in accordance with the below given templates. An example of the Extended Abstract form in the PDF format is given here.
Templates for preparation of Extended Abstracts:
In order to submit your Extended Abstract contribution please access Conference Management System. First step is creation of a user account in the Conference Management System, after which you may proceed to the submission. In case of any difficulties with accessing the System and submitting of the extended abstract please do not hesitate to contact us via email: email@example.com .
Abstract Selection Process
The Scientific Committee will make the selection of abstracts in May 2018. The corresponding author (presenter) will receive an e-mail with the result of the review and the Scientific Committee's decision on the submitted abstract until end of May 2018.
Both, oral and poster presentations are possible.
The corresponding author should state if oral or poster presentation is preferred.
The following presentation formats are applicable for ICSID 2018:
1. Oral presentation: PowerPoint presentation
2. Poster presentation: The authors who will present their work as a poster should bring their posters with them to the conference. Recommended poster size is A0 (841x1189mm). We recommend to use the following PowerPoint template for poster preparation.
Full Paper (optional)
A submission of the full paper is not compulsory for attending the conference. However, participants with accepted abstracts are welcome to submit a full paper of a recommended length of four pages. The full papers will be published on electronic media with an ISSN number 2584-3982.
Authors who prepare a Full Paper, are asked to follow the pattern of the Extended Abstract, in the form of PDF (Portable Document Format) which must be in accordance with Conference style guidelines, as given in the example.
Authors of selected full papers will be invited to submit extended versions for publication in peer reviewed special issues of supporting journals.
